I ordered this dress for myself for the purpose of being a bridesmaid in my brother's September wedding. I'll start with the one positive, the material is strong and the gown would be beautiful I think if it weren't for the following:1. I measured using size chart provided, with extra room just in case and then even ordered an additional size up to be safe because I have a pretty large chest and am used to this. The dress was still too small! Oddly enough not in the actual cup area but the bust/rib/true waist which again I basically ordered 2 sized larger than what my measurements required. In short if you choose to order this- order at your own risk lol.. but seriously it was crappy and I got stuck. Leading me to..2. This dress has the pretty corset back but really could use a zipper! You literally either need to be laced into and out of the dress or try to prep the back and tighten afterward but due to the sizing being not true to measurements this is just not easy to put on and off. You definitely cannot put this dress on alone! This was the hard nope for me because if anyone should be getting helped into her gown it's the bride not the bridesmaid. Too much fuss was put into simply trying it on (I did it both prepped and un-prepped as described above, with another's much needed help)- I couldn't wait to get it off it was so frustrating.3. The dress arrived folded in a seemingly clean plastic air tight bag. The material looked clean, not a spot smudge or even much wrinkles considering the chiffon. However, the second we opened the plastic bag it was in, it smelled so aweful. My whole living room smelled like a rotting fish market! It was coming from the inner lining of the dress. I hung it up for awhile in closed guest room and the smell magically did seem to dissipate, but I mean I've never smelled anything like that from New clothing. I was patient to try it on because the style was what I was hoping would work and we paid over $50 to expedite shipping! Otherwise I would have just sent it straight back right then and there! I mean I've never experienced anything like that before! It took the whole day to get the smell of rotting fish out of my home. We even stayed the night at my moms because young children couldn't stand the smell.4. The lining is seemingly good quality as is the rest of the dress material however, I was sticky and starting to get sweaty from just trying it on. I can only imagine wearing for a whole wedding and reception.5. Be aware of the shipping costs. I'm a prime customer and it appeared to be a prime item that we could return per the usual protocol but it's not.. or at least it wasn't. And you have to get approval for returning from the seller.The seller did promptly approve the return, but I have to package and ship back myself.Read the return policy and seller information if not clearly backed by Prime.
