I ordered this dress in Navy Blue for a formal costume dance - it's PERFECT for a princess. The material is beautiful and the beading is exquisite. I'm SO glad I bought it because now I have something wonderful to wear to formal events! I'm glad it comes with a shawl - I'm sure I can manipulate it and maybe tie it in such a way that I can wear a regular bra with the dress and use that to hide the straps.Now, I'm a bit short - 5'2" so I warn the shorter girls, it IS long, you will want heels with this dress. Even with 3 inch heels I'm going to have to lift it up - I don't consider this a fault with the dress though, it's probably made to like a 5'6" model.Also, keep in mind this dress comes in FORMAL sizes - whatever you are on that chart by measurements, go 2 sizes up. By their chart measurements, I'm supposedly an 18, which is the size I normally wear in regular clothes but having ordered my fair share of formal dresses and having tried on bridesmaid's dresses, I know formal attire runs about 2 sizes higher. They did not have a 22 so I went with a 24 knowing I have a friend who sews and can take it in. It will need to be taken in, but an 18 would have been MUCH too small. Again, I don't consider this a fault with the dress - that's just how formal dresses are made - it's more just info for the would-be buyer.Oh, also, it was scheduled to arrive after March 27th, but came on the 25th - fast service! :)Edit: Still a beautiful dress, but unfortunately, two days before my event when I went to try it on, the pulley on the zipper broke in two. I was unable to wear it to my event and will have to pay to have another zipper put in.
